Taoyuan Airport to Taichung

After arriving at Taoyuan Airport, I purchased a SIM card at the airport. I purchased Chunghwa Telecom " 7 Day Pass" (available at airport) with NT$150 for call/SMS at NT$500.
 
My first stop was Taichung. There are several ways to get from Taoyuan Airport to Taichung including rail, high speed rail, bus and taxi. I chose to take the bus at it was the most convenient and cheapest.
 
To purchase the bus ticket, simply walk in to the bus counter at the airport and purchase the ticket on the spot. The bus frequency was high and the waiting time was minimal.
 
 
 

I took bus 1860 to Taichung. The journey took approximately 2 hours and cost NT$300. I alight at Chaoma Station 朝马站 and took a taxi to my accommodation in Taichung which is near Fengjia Nightmarket.
